http://www.kbzk.com/news/butte-data-forensics-examiner-working-on-hacked-yellowstone-county-website/ Yellowstone County was recently forced to take its website offline due to hacking. The county hired James Holmes, a data forensics examiner from Butte, who works at At-a Data. Holmes has been examining the website since Monday and can confirm multiple hacking attempts have been made. ... Holmes can't reveal many details about what exactly the hackers did to the Yellowstone County website yet, but what could have they had access to? "Typically, on a county government website, you might find death records, birth records, tax payment information. Those would be the most significant things," Holmes said. _______________________________________________ Dataloss-discuss Mailing List (dataloss-discuss () datalossdb org) Archived at http://seclists.org/dataloss/ Unsubscribe at http://datalossdb.org/mailing_list Learn encryption strategies that manage risk and shore up compliance.
