Identity Theft Victim Fights Back

It’s called the “invisible crime.” But an Omaha woman sued the person
who stole her identity to open credit cards... “I have to constantly
prove who I am,” Jamie Napp said...

So Napp took matters into her own hands and sued her imposter for
restitution in Douglas County Court. She asked for $46,000 in damages
for expenses like therapy and credit monitoring. Jackie Brown and her
attorney declined to comment.
