$1 Million Potentially Stolen In Credit Card Ring

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Several people were suspected in connection with a
credit ring, according to a police affidavit obtained Wednesday by
10TV News.
As much as $1 million was potentially stolen, 10TV's Jason Frazer reported.

According to the affidavit, numerous credit cards were stolen and then
were reprogrammed onto gift cards.  The thieves could then use a gift
card as if it was the actual credit card.
