(n.b. original report quoted uni spokesperson as saying that the electronic faculty grade books did not include SSN. Uh huh....) The personal information of about 2,500 University of Texas at Arlington students was on two computers stolen from a faculty member's home last month, school officials said. The computers stolen from Ray Springston's Fort Worth home included class rosters with students' Social Security numbers, grades, e-mail addresses and other information, the school said. Students in computer science and engineering classes between fall 2000 and fall 2006 could be affected.
