*About SyScan'12 Singapore Training Classes*

Date: 24 - 25 April 2012.

Venue: Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel

 

This will be the 9th year for SyScan and it will be the 8th edition for
Singapore.

 

*Topics and Areas of Interest*

The topics and areas of interest for SyScan'12 Singapore Training
Classes will be as follow:

Any Apple related training will be welcomed.

Any Windows 8 related training will be welcomed.

The areas of interest for this topic are:

a.    Exploitation techniques and bypassing-mechanisms

b.    Malware

c.    Rootkits

*4.      **Defensive Technologies*

The areas of interest for this topic are:

a.    Operating System level protection

b.    Application level protection

c.    Network level protection

 

*5.      **Bug Finding*

The areas of interest for this topic are:

 1. Fuzzing and Static Analysis
 2. Source code auditing
 3. Other Methodologies

The areas of interest for this topic are:

*Selection Process*
There will be no selection process. We will accept all training class
submission. However we will not publish any submission with missing
information. Please note that all classes must have a minimum 2-day
agenda. All training classes will be priced at SGD3000 per student.
Early bird registration fee will be SGD2000 per student.

*Trainer**s' Privileges *
Trainers of SyScan'12 Singapore will be entitled to the following
privileges:
. 50% of net profit of the class conducted.
. Access to SyScan'12 Singapore conference.

. After-conference party. SHACK@PATTAYA not included.
. A very healthy dose of alcohol and fun.

 

Please note that the net profit for each class is determined by the
difference between the total fee collected for each class and the total
expenses incurred for each class. The expenses of each class would
include the return economy air-ticket of the trainer, 3 nights of
accommodation (training), the rental of the training venue and training
equipment and training material.

Start of Early Bird Registration -- 2 January 2012
