That's why I do all of my slides in Notepad.

Seriously, I suspect that the number of vulnerabilities in Office is comparable
to that of any other commercial software of similar age and complexity. I don't
expect OpenOffice to be significantly better, it's just that nobody cares about
it enough to exploit it. Using the simplest software possible is the best option
we have at the moment.
