Hey all,well, the amusing side-effect of MS's quasi-monopoly is that they can spend money on security like no software company that is exposed to market conditions can ;)
MS does have a track record of hiring insanely talented people, and I am notsurprised to see Pietrek go to their compiler group -- MS has done a lot of highly
