VMware has released security updates to address a vulnerability in Workstation and Fusion. An attacker could exploit 
this vulnerability to take control of an affected system.

NCCIC encourages users and administrators to review VMware Security Advisory VMSA-2018-0030 [ 
https://www.vmware.com/security/advisories/VMSA-2018-0030.html ] and apply the necessary updates.
