Hello:

According to various posts on redhat-list, it seems that Red Hat's
supplied upgrade to glibc to address the various security issues will
*break* Java support on Red Hat-based systems.

So if you're running Red Hat systems which require the JDK, it may be
necessary to hold off on upgrading glibc, or (if possible) recompile your
JDK under the new libraries.
