Hey, TooRcon is back and stronger then ever. Our first convention was an absolutele success and we expect nothing but the same and even more for this year. TooRcon 2000 has more space, more lectures, longer hours and one extra day! The Information ----------------------- When: September 3rd-5th, 2000 Where: The San Diego Concourse.. San Diego, California Where: http://www.toorcon.com Who: TooRcon is sponsored by the local San Diego computer community, in cooperation with Nightfall Security Group and San Diego 2600 What: TooRcon is a comprehensive three day computer security convention. TooRcon offers lectures from some of the top experts in the field. Our purpose is to raise public awareness of computer security and to demonstrate techniques on how to obtain that security. We also present white papers and updates on current research being done that can be found nowhere else in the world. How Much: TooRcon is only $30 in advance and $40 at the door. The admission covers all three days of the convention. TooRcon is one of the most, if not the most reasonably priced conventions in the computer world. If you have something you would like to present please contact us by replying to this email ASAP. We have a few lecture spaces open for next year and they are filling up fast. All lectures are considered, as long as they are relevant to computer security, even if they are not submit it anyways, if it is interesting enough we might make room for it.
