 I'm very sorry for confusing so many people..... :-(
I was NOT on the net so this is the reason why is my message so late....

The problem is that I runned the test like this:

# su - some_user
 and then you know it -  "reported bug"   :-)

I thought running su - username gets _really_ same settings as if you
login as that user.

Sorry, C2 on Digital Unix works perfectly :-)
