Does anyone have a configurable, simple fingerd that they could share? I'd like something that does logging, but other than that, I have few requirements. I've looked at GNU finger (way too complex) and the linux fingerd (no logging). Are there other suggestions?
You could use whatever fingerd inspires you together with tcp_wrappers which will do the logging (and more if you want). You can get tcp_wrappers from coast.cs.purdue.edu:/pub/tools/unix Mark -- Mark Henderson, SoftQuad Inc., 108-10070 King George Hwy, Surrey, B.C.
