Not about BARRnet, but NEARnet subscribers got a letter
a couple of weeks ago telling us they had been compromised.
They did not give details about how the crackers got through.



Chances are they arent sure which hole he came in on. 

I have a feeling all they know is that they found a log containg
sniffed packets in some directory and was only noticable because of
its size.
