Hi everybody, I'm looking for an IP tables log parsing tool, or similar, that will look for connection patterns, like say, for a user who is accessing a host on a given port every three hours for example. I'm sure it could be scripted in Perl or another language, but I was wondering if anyone knows of existing tools for this. Maybe its possible with Snort or Argus, but I can't find any specific documentation yet that mentions this feature. I might not be searching with the right phrases, because googling for "connection patterns" and similar terms doesn't turn up much at all.
