tcpdump -i eth0 -w capture.pcap
 
 This is the best you're going to get for that sort of purpose. You can dump the "raw" data a few ways, but since the 
attacks occur within the IP layer, you shouldn't need to go outside of the protocol. There are numerous packet 
generators that will allow you to inject traffic, hping for example.
