I'm getting authentication failure entries in auth.log with no rhost. I didn't think this was possible. Can anyone tell 
what's going on?

May  1 11:13:12 server dovecot-auth: pam_unix(dovecot:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 
tty=dovecot ruser=<xxxx> rhost=
