No, a Server 2008 R2 KMS key should do. A Server 2008 KMS key, however,
won't. That key must be installed and activated on the KMS server.

The clients just need the appropriate product key as documented on the
"Deploying KMS Activation" page I mentioned earlier.

That should be fine, provided the clients are running Win7 Professional.

Since I cannot see from here what output the command produces there,
could you please just post the output? Thank you.

Specificall the output of the following commands is of interest:

  "slmgr /dlv" on the KMS server
  "slmgr /dli" on a client

Use "cscript %SystemRoot%\system32\slmgr.vbs" instead of just "slmgr"
for easier copy/pasting.

Can you force activation of a client by running "slmgr /ato" on it?
