uhhhhh, duh? Most exploits involve memory corruption. Browser crashing
is essentially the goal, ergo it would be well performing code if it
crashed the browser.

the overflow is typically nearly instant. I've never heard of an
exploit that could be stopped because it took too long an the kill
unresponsive script alert came up.
