I am currently running a pen test for a company, and found a bunch of HP M4345 MFP printers. They don't have any encryption, authentication, security controls in general in place. I am wondering though where they store copies of scanned images. I am under the impression they do, but haven't been able to discover where this might be contained. Any recommendations to further exploit HP M4345 printers. For those in similar situations I found this article to be very helpful. http://www.irongeek.com/i.php?page=security/networkprinterhacking ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Securing Apache Web Server with thawte Digital Certificate In this guide we examine the importance of Apache-SSL and who needs an SSL certificate.
