Monitoring P2P Activity

Hey Guys,

I am wondering if you know of any vendor/software which can provide
adequate controls to prevent, monitor and correct weaknesses related to
P2P software. Ideally, I would like to:

-->control the installation of P2P software
--> block P2P software inbound and outbound communications on the
network
--> record and monitor the use of P2P software through audit logs
-->scan for vulnerabilities in P2P software
-->detect, quarantine, and remove P2P software
--->patch management for P2P software which have a business need

I did some looking around and I wasn't able to find any software which
specifically handles this stuff. I'm thinking its more of a case of a
combination of several tools such as Tripwire, Nessus, OpenVAS and a
Firewall (etc).

Thoughts?

Thanks guys,

Kurt, C|EH, CPT, CISA
