You can specifically search for a exploit

something like

"search ms08"

This will result exploits/payloads which contains the string ms08

every time i use Metssploit and want it to display the exploits using "show" i get a long list dispalyd.
 the problem is i cant browse it all via command line.
 i tried stuff like "shoe exploits less"
 trying to page the output, but no luck.
i looked it up, it's probbaly documented somewhere, but i cant seem to find it.
