Safe is relative term. If you want to use ILO from LAN you should be using
ACL's to filter; if you use from internet (not the best way) you must use
VPN to connect to the corporate network and then access ILO console.

Anyway nothing is safe enough; periodic review of Logs, risk,
vulnerabilities, polices, etc are the best possible methods...
