I'm not sure what you're asking myself..

The only thing I can think you're referring to is maybe the Header
information?

That'll give some information of where the email is claimed to have
originated from, however a percent of that can be faked, as I'm sure
that more experienced people here can vouch..

Prehaps more information from yourself would assist people?
