The law's consequence applies to possession, not authorized remote hosted use. So, go with the grain. Time to pay a non domestic hosting service to securely host your tool buckets. Your tools will need to be secure and provide authenticated anonymity for your transactional access. Let them ban authorized use and they will only have security illiterate network admins to manage the SDLC. Which means UK machines will run without infection for as many minutes as hours they take to install.
