The problem is three domains physically separated that require sharing of applications and data. I am aware of the need for filters and other means. What I am looking for in particular is high-level overview of cross domain solutions, and more detailed information on particular implementations (trusted domains, federated domains, etc). The GCN article was interesting though, thank you for pointing me there. On 6/5/07, Melissa <missy.augustine () gmail com> wrote:
Well, there just so happens to be an article about CDS in the latest GCN. I am pretty sure you can view it online. I understand your topic is trusted domains? In what context? Just because something is a trusted domain doesn't mean it's allowed in. There needs to be filters in place depending on what type of data is passing thru, and of course let's not forget that what plans drawn up to connect these two needs to be ST&E'd, CT&E'd, and all that good stuff. Well I suppose it varies depending on what side of the house you are on.... I might be way off your topic though, hopefully the article can help? So far I have found little on the subject, and Wikipedia's page on Cross Domain Solutions is sparse, to say the least. My current focus is Trusted Domains. Are there any alternatives that people would recommend? Thanks much in advance, -matt
