I'm not familiar with any *legitimate* reason to have variables in the headers. Looks like what you've got here is the product of some idiot spammer who can't get his spam software to work correctly. Feel free to have a good laugh at his expense. http://blogs.chron.com/techblog/archives/2007/01/dumbest_spam_ever.html Devin -----Original Message----- From: listbounce () securityfocus com [mailto:listbounce () securityfocus com] On Behalf Of Santiago L Hasenclever Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2007 2:53 PM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Cc: cristian () subastasweb com Subject: strange e-mail message I've been receiving lots of this strange messages. I don't know if email is being sent by my postfix smtp server or if is remote and postfix is doing the local transport. It's a very rare message because it is full of variables even in the header. can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance...
