Is there anyway for a windows machine to disable the use of only the USB based flash memory and not other devices attached via USB?
Hi! There are many ways to do that. 1. Disable USBSTOR service in Registry HKLM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR\Startup set value to 4 2. Use a professional commercial tool like GFI Languard EndPOint Security 3 or Device Lock for centrally controlling multiple machines. My 2 cents! :-) Regards
