Hi Charalambous, Great paper. I'd like to suggest the inclusion of more two tools: - HIDS (Host Intrusion Detection System) Check in http://www.ossec.net/ It can check integrity of files, analyze logs, rootkit detection and active response and so on. - Mod_Security (http://www.modsecurity.org/) It's a module to apache that analyze traffic between client and webserver. It can block sql injection attacks, XSS and so on Frederico madeira fmadeira () gmail com www.madeira.eng.br Em Qua, 2007-12-12 às 16:34 +0000, glafkos () infosec org uk escreveu:Hello, A paper for securing & hardening linux for home or production servers has been published.
