Hello Dummy Cerberus,

This is a common problem faced by new Microsoft Server Administrators.
So for this, Microsoft has designed a simple, but powerful tool called
"RSoP" i.e. Resultant Set of Policy.

The RSoP snap-in allows you to view the user and computer settings
that are applied to the computer the user running the tool is logged
onto.

Just click on Start - Run - type rsop.msc.

By this you would come to know, what all policies are applied to that
particular machine on which it is executed.
