Integration of SIM with Mainframes.

Hi,
   Has anybody done any projected whereby the SIM tool has to be integrated to monitor alerts and logs from mainframe 
Servers like OS/390, Open VMS, TANDEM..?!

I am workin on a similar project whereby i am trying to integrate SIM Tool "NetIQ" for the same purpose.

Any useful feedback would be highly helpful.
