Vipul, et al, I found this Amazon list of "Potential ISSAP References" and a previous Security Focus post recommending CCCure.org(Thanks Jas ;). I think it would also help if someone who has already taken the exam could provide some good sources and direction. http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/listmania/fullview/1XHUNJFQEEF3V/103-92 92928-4969433?%5Fencoding=UTF8 http://www.cccure.org/ Thanks, Dan -----Original Message----- From: Dan Bogda Sent: Wednesday, March 29, 2006 6:52 PM To: 'Vipul Kumra'; security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: RE: Information related to ISSAP... !!! Vipul, I am actually pursuing the ISSAP as well. I was able to find the following FAQ on the www.isc2.org website, included below. To answer your first question, per the FAQ, you should be able to take this examination at any of the published testing events. I was able to find a US price of $349. If this follows the CISSP exam, it will probably cost you between $399 & $449. I haven't been able to find any recommended reading yet, but I will forward it on when I find some. Dan https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?page=819#issapdom Q: Where are the concentration examinations administered? A: The concentration examinations are offered at all published testing events. http://www.cramsession.com/articles/get-article.asp?aid=895 Each exam lasts 3 hours and costs $349 USD. There are savings if you register for two or more exams. Moreover, "the ISSMP and ISSAP concentration examinations are comprised of 100 scored items plus 25 pretest items - for a total of 125 items. The ISSEP concentration examination is comprised of 125 scored items plus 25 pretest items - for a total of 150 items." -----Original Message----- From: Vipul Kumra [mailto:secureskillz () yahoo com] Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2006 11:16 PM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Information related to ISSAP... !!! Hi, Does anyone has information related to ISSAP(r): Information Systems Security Architecture Professional examination. I've cleared my CISSP exam (waiting for the certificate) and would like to get the ISSAP certification. It would be really helpful if someone can answer this: 1. Can I appear for the ISSAP certification in India? And how much does the exam cost? 2. Is there any official material (or recommended material) for ISSAP exam? Thanks Vipul __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
