Hi, well I used to manage a small cafe which used Deep Freeze so every time you restart the computer it rollsback into the state you set it on. It can be easely turned off by restarting the computer and removing it from the startup on msconfig. Overall for cafes, its a very good program.
Easily turned off by restarting the computer and removing it from the startup using msconfig/etc? But.. all changes are lost on reboot. How exactly would that work?? ( i sure can't see how it would ). Deep freeze is a very effective program for the unskilled and even slightly skilled attacker, compared to a lot of other solutions at least. -Aaron grattafiori --------------------------------------------------------------------------- EARN A MASTER OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION ASSURANCE - ONLINE The Norwich University program offers unparalleled Infosec management education and the case study affords you unmatched consulting experience.
