  I never synchronize my PDA with mail/calendars/etc.

  I do, however, put files from my desktop onto an SD card which then
fits into my PDA.  Works great for taking documents with me to meetings
without slaughtering forests.

  Doesn't work so great for keeping confidential info off my PDA.  I
think this has to be regarded as a policy/behaviour issue, and resists
fixing by simple technical means.
