PGP for desktop is the solution. You can encrypt emails, files, Disk wipe or file wipe to disable file recovery, set password to confidential data and it also has a VPN solution call PGPNet build-in. http://www.pgp.com Regards, Andrew Chong, cissp -----Original Message----- From: cc [mailto:cc () belfordhk com] Sent: Friday, October 28, 2005 10:18 AM To: Security Basics Subject: re: remote desktop Dear All, Thanks for the advice and help regarding the issue of securing the remote desktop. Quite the majority of responses suggested installing a VPN. Which VPN product should I consider? I know googling will give me all sorts of answers, and in the past, I did try to attempt to get FreeSWAN but failed. Will have to try another go. Thanks again! Edmund
