Guys,

The second reference
(http://www.mastercardmerchant.com/docs/best_practices.pdf) is out of date
(2003), please see https://sdp.mastercardintl.com/ (2005).

Subject: RE: Credit/Debit Card Security

A good place to start might be the Mastercard / Visa PCI guidelines:

http://usa.visa.com/business/accepting_visa/ops_risk_management/cisp.html
http://www.mastercardmerchant.com/docs/best_practices.pdf
http://www.mckeay.net/secure/archives/000526.html

Hi List,
Although Credit Card/Debit card operations are based on IT infrstructure, I
have rarely seen discussion on the subject in Security newsgroup...
Are there any forums that discuss about this issue? if anyone has any
interesting link please share it with us... Card fraud has direct financial
implication and has a high impact on reputational risk Thanking you all for
your feedback
