Rob,
I faced a similar situation a few years back and collated a list of every
tap vendor http://www.securitywizardry.com/taps.htm As far as I know it
still details every vendor except one, I lost the details for them, though I
don't remember the company. I also have details on a tap detection system
which goes beyond the standard threshold alarm.

Be careful they vary greatly in their capabilities

cheers

Subject: Fiber Taps

I am in a situation where I need to find SX fiber taps in a hurry. Can
you folks relay some of your favs and possible why. The main feature I
need is that they are passive. Aggregation of monitoring ports would
be cool and in this case output to copper is needed. Any suggestions
or guidance would be appreciated!
