Unless they name their SSID the same as their company name, how will you
know who to call on?  If you intend to maybe break into their network
through electronic means (monitor their traffic to see who they are) then I
would say you might cross and ethical line there.


It's relatively easy to figure that one out. You keep noting the signal strength as you move. This means that if you 
find an area with ONE wi-fi only and it is open, you just get out of the car and walk until you are getting top 
strength. When you look up from the laptop, you'll be in front of the customer. If you are in an area with multiple 
signals, the strongest strength is the nearest one. You can map them 100% accurately that simply.
