Good selection Jeff. =) I'm also a fan of most any O'Reilly flavor (http://www.oreilly.com/). While most of their books aren't geared towards "ethical hacking" in a sense, they are VERY informative. The first step for any hacker is to understand the protocols and procedures. Their TCP/IP book is a gem - read that and have a copy of netcat on hand for some testing of your own. -- Peace. ~G On Thu, 9 Sep 2004 11:08:03 -0700, Jeffrey S. Sims <sims () interex org> wrote:
Hello, I also thought "Hackers Beware" by Eric Cole was outstanding in showing how to hack, and how to prevent it. I never review a book on amazon but felt compelled to share my thoughts on this one. Very well written book. Here is the amazon address: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0735710090/103-1320012-4732669?v=glance Good luck to ya.
