Poke around on ebay and other for sale/auction sites, find the same model drive for cheap, then replace the controller card on your drive with the one from your cheap, unlocked drive. That should at least let you access the data. That should work if the password is stored in the firmware on the controller card. If the password is stored in the boot sector or elsewhere on the physical media, an attempt using specialized data recovery techniques will probably be your only hope. Rob
