Is it on a 'home' pc or is it on a corporate LAN? If its on a LAN why not setup firewall to firewall VPN's? That way no clients are required. Another option is talk to the people with the checkpoint firewall and see if they can setup a clientless VPN for you. There is a way to do this through checkpoint and it uses a cert (as I understand it) and this may be able to secure the communication to both sites while only needing one client application. Otherwise as the others suggested. Stop one before starting the other. It's a bit of a muck around but it's the best solution. -----Original Message----- From: Predrag Petrovic [mailto:predrag.petrovic () lsinter net] Sent: Saturday, 30 October 2004 5:36 a.m. To: Meidinger Chris Cc: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Re: AW: Two VPN clients on one computer Hi Chris, Well I would like to know how did you manage to do it? I found out recently that there will be checkpoint + cisco clients on one computer.
