RE: scanning NATed network question

If you were internal to the network, you sure could.  If you're external,
the only thing you can hope for is some open connections or port mapping to
get an idea of what's going on inside the network.  Also, if they have their
DNS mis-configured, you might be able to get a zone transfer of information
about the internal network that you could use in conjunction w/ your scans.
