Re: [Maybe Spam] Spyware Adware URL lists

If you're using Squid, then you'll want to to only use the domain
names, and not the preceding 127.0.0.1 entries on each line.

I just did this today for my Squid proxy. I wrote a script that will
download this list below every morning at 2am, parse it to remove
everything but the domain names and save it as
/etc/squid/spyware_list_2.txt. The existing list will be overwritten
every morning and squid will be restarted to see the updated list.

I'll be glad to help if you need something similar setup.

New guy question, If I add these to my list of blocked sites,
then ads associated with sites won't appear when my users
access the internet?

Hi List,
I am looking for a list of web sites that are accessed by all those
Spywares, Adwares and other malware out there

A regularly updated list would be perfect

Tried to google for such a list, with no success

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Ronish
