BGP Logs

I'm working with logs from approximately one thousand routers reporting BGP states and would like to calculate outage 
times based on difference in the time between the up/down messages. Is anyone aware of any software that will calculate 
this easily? Or does anyone have experience doing this task.  Thanks!
