But there's no alternative way to update Win boxes except using IE? I.e an update management server which can be remotely controlled from any browser or command-line scripts? Or something similar to: ssh to win box c:\> update_client check_for_updates c:\> update_client update_all / update_program1..n or program those updates into a task scheduler?
