Patricio,

I used the same book by Shon Harris, and it will help a lot if you practice
answering mock exams, particularly if English is not your first language,
I used to answer questions in http://www.cccure.org.

Hope this article will encourage you.

Course is advisable, but if you are a good enough bookworm you may get
through.

I used the "All in One Cissp Certification" by Shon Harris & found it to be
a pretty good. There's so much to cover and most of us can't get by on just
one. Fortunately I bought the book & work paid for the course.

The course becomes more worthwhile when you take into account the
interaction you get with a tutor & students. This is somehting that you
can't get from a book.
