RE: SFTP vs SCP

There is really no difference as far as transferring files. SFTP is a
little easier to use than SCP (secure copy). I mainly use SFTP over both
the Internet and Intranet. However, I have used scp over the intranet to
transfer router configs.

Subject: SFTP vs SCP

I hear many people talking about either SFTP or SCP/ I understand
that both are related to SSH but what are the differences if any
between the two?
