Shiva Lan Rover Password Recovery

Hi all,

I'm new to this list. I'm using Shiva LanRover 8/e as RAS dialin server
with default authentication. Shiva has a feature to export the
configuration as text files (*.smu file).
Does anyone know how to recover password from this file. I tried googling
since last month, someone told me that Shiva lan Rover used DES to
encrypted pasword, but when I tried used JohnTheRipper and nothing happen.
