Remember to turn off the don't defragement bit with a route-map or using the
crypto command 'crypto ipsec df-bit clear'.  Otherwise you may have file
transfer problems and amongst other things.

Will Gre tunnels provide an extra level of security?  If one would consider
administration to be part of security I would think so.  But depends on what
you need it for.

if anything I have seen an increase in speed, using this method [in my
delpoyment scenarios] I am able to be more granular in my security policies
in regards to traffic traversing the tunnel.
