RE: Home Directory Security

If the home directory is configured correctly then there shouldn't be any
configuration issues. The only users with access to the folder should be the
actual user (Modify) and the Domain Administrators group (Full). Too many
times I have visited clients and found that there hom directories were set
to Everyone (Full) on both Share and Security permissions settings. Another
quick tip would be to hide the share with a dollar sign at the end of the
share name. That way it is not visible within Network Neighborhood. That's
my two cents on it.

are there any security issues related to using a home directory in MS. i do
not use them, but have been running into a lot of clients who do.
