MRTG is right on target and can run on Windows as well as almost every
other OS. I have specifically written a beginners guide to MRTG on
Windows entitled MRTG for Dummies - http://www.netmon.org

If you follow the install guide, download Firedeamon (to make it run as
a
service), and download mrtgindex page of the MRTG demo site and edit
it.. it
works great!

Take a look at MRTG (multi-router traffic grapher). I don't think it is
easy
to set up, however I can't say from experience as I've never used it.

I am interesting in getting some ideas as to which packages
are out there
and recommended to monitor a router.

Like the following stats:(in real-time)

CPU Utilization
Bandwidth Utilization
Packet Count
Packets in Error
Type of Traffic

It would have to be able to work with:
1> Intel Express Routers(frame relay) ie 9515
2> Netopia/Caymen Routers(dsl/sdsl/idsl) ie r3100
3> Cisco Routers. ie2600

Considering Points:
1>Ease of setup
2>Report capability
3>Functionality / Compatibility

I am looking for a Windows based product, but open to other
solutions as
well.

Thanks in advance,

Nick
